Charles is Chairman of TalkTalk Group. As the founder of Carphone Warehouse he was instrumental creating TalkTalk following the acquisition of Opal in 2002. Since then he has directed the development of TalkTalk to become one of the leading telecommunications businesses in the UK. Charles has been a TalkTalk Director since 20 January 2010 and he is also chairman of the Prince's Trust.

Dido was appointed CEO of TalkTalk Group in March 2010. Prior to joining TalkTalk, Dido was Sainsbury's convenience director. She joined Sainsbury's from Tesco PLC where she held a variety of senior roles both in the UK and international businesses. She was appointed as a non-executive director of The British Land Company PLC in January 2010.

Stephen Makin - Chief Financial Officer

Stephen is a Chartered Management Accountant with over 15 years of experience in senior finance roles, most recently at Shop Direct where he was CFO. Prior to that, he was CEO and CFO of London listed Umbro PLC, until its acquisition by Nike in 2008. Stephen spent the early part of his career at Asda, where he held a series of senior finance positions.

David Goldie - Group Commercial Director

David has over 25 years' experience in the telecommunications industry and has held a number of senior roles within the TalkTalk Group since he joined Carphone Warehouse in November 2002 following the acquisition of Opal. Since then, he has focused on major commercial projects, corporate development and the TalkTalk Group's regulatory affairs. He has been a TalkTalk director since 20 January 2010.

Brent co-founded lastminute.com in April 1998 with Martha Lane Fox. He was lastminute.com's chief executive officer until the company was sold in 2005. Prior to this, he had overseen the company's flotation on the London Stock Exchange in March 2000. Brent subsequently founded mydeco, the innovative online service for home design and furniture. He is a Governor of the University of the Arts, London, a non-executive director of the Guardian Media Group and TimeOut Group, a member of the Business Council for Britain and a Young Global Leader for the World Economic Forum. Brent has been a non-executive director of TalkTalk since 20 January 2010.

Sir Howard Stringer was named Chairman of the Board for Sony Corporation in June 2012. Prior to that, he served as Chairman, CEO and Representative Corporate Executive Officer and various other at Sony Corporation and added the responsibility of President in 2009. Prior to joining Sony in 1997, Sir Howard had a distinguished 30-year career as a journalist, producer and executive at CBS Inc. As President of CBS from 1988 to 1995, he was responsible for all broadcast activities. He earned nine individual Emmys as a writer, director and producer at CBS News.

James T. Powell is Chief Technology Officer of Thomson Reuters. In his role, he oversees the company's technology initiatives and strategy, including the application of newly emerging technologies to advance the development and delivery of intelligent information. Previously he was Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the Markets Division. In his 14 years at Reuters, James held a number of senior leadership positions including CTO for Enterprise; CTO and global head of product development; head of technology strategy; and CTO for the Reuters Financial division. He has also held senior leadership positions at Solace Systems, Citadel Investment Group and TIBCO Finance Technology. He earned a BSc in Mathematics and an MSc in Industrial Robotics from Imperial College London.

Ian has been involved in the telecoms and media sector for over 20 years. He held roles during his 11 years at BSkyB including managing director of the subscription business and also managed the introduction of Sky Digital. Ian co-founded Top Up TV in 2003, was an National UK advisory board member 2001-2003, and currently is a supervisory board member of Kabel Deutschland, Germanys largest Cable company. Ian has been a non-executive director of TalkTalk since February 2011 and is Chairman of TalkTalk's TV committee.

John Allwood - Non-Executive Director

John has previously held roles as Chief Operating Officer and Group Finance Director of Mecom Group plc. Prior to this, he was Managing Director of Telegraph Media Group Limited. Formerly, he was Chief Executive of Orange UK and also Chief Executive of Mirror Group plc. John is currently a member of Exeter University Council and chairman of Market Evolution Limited, a specialist media consultancy. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Carphone Warehouse PLC. John has been a non-executive director of TalkTalk since 20 January 2010.

John Gildersleeve - Non-Executive Director

John joined the Carphone Warehouse board in June 2000 and became non-executive chairman in July 2005. He was appointed a non-executive director of The British Land Company PLC in September 2008. Previously, he was an executive director of Tesco PLC until he retired in February 2004. He was chairman of Gallaher Group PLC until April 2007 and chairman of EMI Group PLC until September 2007. Prior to this he was a non-executive director of Vodafone Group PLC from 1998 to 2000. John has been a non-executive director of TalkTalk since 20 January 2010.

Tim is responsible for all legal matters in the UK and across Europe including acquisitions, corporate governance and company secretarial matters at TalkTalk Group. Previously he was a partner at DLA.
